A Message From Our Team:
We want to extend a huge THANK YOU to all of our clients who HAVE been so patient with us over the past 5 weeks.
Our goal at this time is to maintain our ability to provide care for our patients.
We want to make sure we can stay open to serve you, in some capacity, throughout the duration of this pandemic.
In so doing we need to limit our direct contact between our hospital team and the community for the safety of everyone.
We have made the following changes:
– Please remain in your vehicle outside the clinic and call 780-624-1606 to notify us you have arrived.
– All dogs/cats must be on a leash or in a kennel, if you do not have a leash or kennel please notify us when you arrive and we will bring one of ours for you to put on your pet. When putting your animal in a kennel we suggest you do this in your vehicle (with doors closed) so no pets get loose. We want our staff and clients to be able to maintain social distance at all times.
– We will continue to allow only one person in with a patient.
–Please no children.
–All refill medications and pet foods will be delivered to your car. Please call ahead to ensure it will be ready and available when you arrive. We recommend paying via credit card or e-transfer before you arrive.
You can now order pet food and retail products on-line.
Shipment will be delivered to our clinic for pick up. Please allow 48 hours for delivery.
We are offering free delivery (within Peace River town limits) until April 30, 2020.
-Emergency services will continue by using the after-hours line. 780-624-1606
For any changes to protocols please call us/check our Facebook page.
We want to stress to you our main goal is to keep services available to our community. With your cooperation and these measures, we hope to achieve this through the pandemic of COVID-19.
Because there are daily changes to recommendations, we will continue to evolve with them to ensure we can be there for our clients.
Please call ahead to help reduce waiting times for you.
We are experiencing 4x more phone traffic than usual. We have 4 phone lines and some days we have only one receptionist and skeleton staff. We are noticing some phone calls are unfortunately not being able to be picked up. Please keep calling, we want to help you.
Most importantly, we have limited staff during these uncertain times and we are doing our very best to offer our clients the service they deserve. We are literally RUNNING! Our protocols change and evolve weekly.
The safety of our staff, clients and patients is our top priority.
Thank you for your cooperation. Stay Safe.
Michelle Dubrule, RVT/Office Manager
